TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - Viral di media sosial video menunjukkan detik-detik dua remaja tenggelam saat sedang bercanda di air terjun.Peristiwa itu terjadi di Air Terjun Jami, Desa Bonto Somba, Kecamatan Tompobulu, Kabupaten Maros, Sulawesi Selatan (Sulsel), Jumat (12/7/2024).
Dalam video, awalnya terlihat ada enam remaja bergandengan tangan di air terjun.
Namun, tiba-tiba dua remaja di antaranya masuk ke air dan tak muncul lagi ke permukaan.
Dilansir Tribun-Timur, dua korban ini berinisial TW dan SA, remaja perempuan yang sama-sama masih berusia 17 tahun.
Rekan korban, Salsa mengatakan bahwa keduanya sempat berteriak meminta tolong.
"Mungkin sudah tidak bisa lagi naik ke permukaan, saya pun tidak bisa berenang saya langsung naik ke rumah warga," kata Salsa.
Kini, jasad kedua korban sudah berhasil dievakuasi petugas BPBD, Basarnas dan Tim SAR.
