Dukung Hamas, Wakil Ketua MPR RI Hidayat Nur Wahid Setuju Proposal Trump untuk Selamatkan Warga Gaza

Pernyataan tersebut mendukung Hamas yang menyatakan menerima proposal damai Presiden AS Donald Trump demi menghentikan genosida di Gaza.
Sikap Hamas ini juga didukung negara mediator seperti Mesir, Turki, dan Qatar.
HNW menilai sikap Menlu Indonesia ini konsisten dengan amanat UUD 1945 untuk menghapus penjajahan dan memastikan masa depan Gaza ditentukan oleh warga Palestina sendiri.
Meski Hamas menunjukkan sikap positif dan siap berdiskusi, HNW menyayangkan Israel yang secara terbuka mengabaikan seruan Trump untuk segera menghentikan serangan ke Gaza.
Faktanya, serangan Israel terus berlanjut, bahkan menewaskan sedikitnya 77 warga sipil Gaza setelah larangan Trump dikeluarkan.
HNW menegaskan bahwa Israel, melalui PM Benjamin Netanyahu, menunjukkan penolakan terhadap kehendak masyarakat dunia untuk mengakhiri perang dan mencapai solusi dua negara (two-state solution).
HNW berharap Presiden Trump dan negara Arab-Islam dapat menekan Netanyahu agar menghentikan agresi dan genosida di Gaza, sejalan dengan desakan mayoritas anggota PBB dan protes global.
