Terungkap Motif OTK Tembak Petani di OKI hingga Tewas, Dipicu Sakit Hati atas Omongan Korban

Tak sampai 24 jam, tim gabungan Polres OKI sudah berhasil mengamankan pelaku bernama Mahrani (34), sekira pukul 13.30 WIB.
Dari penangkapan itu terungkap pula motif pelaku melakukan aksi pembunuhan tersebut.
Menurut Kapolres OKI, AKBP Eko Rubiyanto dalam perjamuan pers, Senin (6/10) sore, aksi nekat itu dilakukan lantaran pelaku sakit hati kepada korban.
Pelaku mengaku memiliki dendam karena sering diejek oleh korban di depan umum.
Karena diliputi rasa amarah, pelaku kemudian melampiaskan dengan menunggu korban di jalan Desa Sungai Jeruju pada Senin pagi sekira pukul 07.00 WIB.
Dalam melancarkan aksi tersebut, Mahrani merakit senjata api jenis revolver untuk kemudian menembak korban tepat di bagian dada hingga korban tewas.
Atas perbuatannya, pelaku kini dihadapkan ancaman hukuman maksimal.
Ia dijerat dengan Pasal 340 KUHP tentang pembunuhan berencana, subsider Pasal 338 KUHP.
Pelaku terancam hukuman mati, penjara seumur hidup, atau paling lama 20 tahun penjara.
