Kairo berpandangan pengeboman di Suriah selatan juga semakin memperburuk konflik.
Mesir kemudian meminta dunia internasional dan Dewan Keamanan PBB untuk menekan Israel agar menghentikan aksinya.
Hal senada juga disampaikan Kementerian Luar Negeri Arab Saudi pada Rabu (26/2/2025) malam.
Saudi menilai, serangan Israel terhadap Suriah selatan telah merusak keamanan dan stabilitas regional.
Dalam konflik ini, Arab Saudi menyatakan solidaritas dan berpihak kepada Suriah.
Adapun serangan udara Israel terhadap Suriah berlangsung pada Selasa (25/2/2025) malam.
Serangan itu menargetkan situs militer di pedesaan Damaskus dan Provinsi Daraa.
Israel tak ingin ada lagi aktivitas militer di selatan Suriah pascaberakhirnya rezim Al Assad karena khawatir akan mengancam Tel Aviv.
Itulah yang menjadi alasan Perdana Menteri Benjamin Netanyahu menyerukan demiliterisasi.
