Trump afirmó que su país se convertirá en el guardián de esta estratégica vía marítima e impondrá un peaje del 20 % a toda la carga transportada a través de ella. Detalló que el peaje ayudará a cubrir todos los costos necesarios para cumplir con el trabajo de brindar protección y seguridad a esta inestable sección del mundo.
