Im März 2026 hat die Schufa ein neues System eingeführt, das digitaler, für Verbraucherinnen und Verbraucher verständlicher und vor allem transparenter sein soll. Jetzt zeigt eine gemeinsame Recherche von NDR und Süddeutscher Zeitung: Die größte deutsche Auskunftei speichert die Daten von Millionen Verbraucherinnen und Verbrauchern viel länger als bisher bekannt – ohne, dass die Betroffenen davon wissen.In dieser 11KM-Folge erzählt NDR-Journalist Peter Hornung, wie er und seine Kolleginnen und Kollegen der bislang unbekannten Datenbank auf die Spur gekommen sind und welche Folgen die Recherche für die #Schufa haben könnte.
