Sein Durchbruch als Comedian gelang Tutty Tran 2017, als er den "Nightwash Talent Award" gewann. Von Beginn an hatte er eine große Fangemeinde auf Social Media; inzwischen folgen ihm dort über 2 Millionen Menschen. Mit seinen Live-Shows "Augen zu und durch" sowie "Hai Dai Mau" feierte er große Erfolge. Sein Buchdebüt "Wenn nicht jetzt, wan tan? Eine Toleranzfibel für jedermann*innen" wurde 2023 zum Bestseller. Außerdem war er als Schauspieler in der ZDFneo-Serie "Doppelhaushälfte" zu sehen und in der Kinokomödie "Das Kanu des Manitu" von Regisseur Michael Bully Herbig. 2026 feiert Tutty Tran sein 10-jähriges Bühnenjubiläum; derzeit tourt er mit seinem neuen Programm "Wok-Life-Balance".
