«Ringrazio il Santo Padre per aver accettato la mia richiesta di poterlo incontrare per un'udienza anche con la mia famiglia. Abbiamo ribadito al Papa l'impegno dell'Italia a favore della pace che rappresenta una priorità. La pace in Medio Oriente, la pace in Ucraina, la situazione in Sudan e tutte le guerre che ci sono nel mondo, dell'importanza che deve avere per ognuno di noi un impegno a favore della pace». Così il ministro degli Esteri Antonio Tajani al termine dell’udienza con Papa Leone XIV in Vaticano.
