Upacara ini dihadiri oleh 3000 peserta termasuk pegawai Otorita IKN, perwakilan pemerintah daerah, dan masyarakat umum.
Kepala Otorita IKN Basuki Hadimuljono yang bertindak sebagai Inspektur Upacara tampak mengenakan baju adat suku Dayak Kenyah asal Kalimantan.
Basuki menyatakan bahwa pakaian ini dikenakannya sebagai bentuk penghormatan terhadap bumi Kalimantan yang jadi tempat IKN dibangun.
Selain Basuki, para peserta upacara lainnya juga turut mengenakan baju adat, termasuk seorang ASN di bidang Sarana dan Prasarana (Sarpras) Otorita IKN, Ardita Palupi yang memakai baju adat Amarasi dari NTT.
