Гипотеза Фюрстенберга о двух умножениях в терминах следов на C*-алгебрах
Пусть p,q — мультипликативно независимые натуральные числа, большие единицы. Рассмотрим на окружности R/Z отображения умножения на p и q. Гипотеза Фюрстенберга утверждает, что единственная эргодическая вероятностная мера, инвариантная относительно обоих этих отображений и имеющая бесконечный носитель, — это мера Лебега.
В докладе я расскажу об эквивалентной формулировке этой гипотезы в терминах следов на групповой C*-алгебре. Для этого рассмотрим группу G = Z[1/pq] ⋊ Z², где Z² действует на Z[1/pq] умножениями на степени p и q. Оказывается, гипотеза Фюрстенберга эквивалентна утверждению о том, что канонический след является единственным точным экстремальным следовым состоянием на C*-алгебре группы G.
