Disponible en rediffusion jusqu'au 26/03/2029Une équipe de journalistes russes, qui doit rester anonyme, s’est rendue trois fois dans une petite ville de l’Oural entre février 2022 et février 2023, à la rencontre de Russes qui vivent loin de la capitale pour connaître leur état d’esprit face aux discours du Kremlin.
Avant l’invasion de l’Ukraine, personne ne voulait croire à une offensive russe et les habitants de Fère-Champenoise, nom donné à la ville en l’honneur d’une victoire cosaque contre Napoléon, étaient surtout préoccupés par leurs conditions de vie.
Mais en un an, la guerre est présente dans tous les esprits. Pourtant, les habitants continuent à soutenir le pouvoir et ne remettent pas en question la nécessité de cette « opération spéciale », malgré l’arrivée des premiers cercueils de soldats morts en Ukraine.
