The one Scot Pollard Pistons highlight in existence at the moment

March 20, 1998 - This clip is for Pistons completionists, aka those interested in delving all the way down to identify as many Pistons player appearances as humanly possible.

Despite being the Pistons' 19th overall pick in 1997, Scot Pollard made just 33 appearances for the team during his rookie campaign, averaging 2.7 points and 2.2 rebounds per game. He lasted just one season in Detroit before being sent to Atlanta (alongside a future first round pick) in exchange for Christian Laettner. After being waived by the Hawks, Pollard latched on with the Sacramento Kings at the front end of their Chris Webber-led run toward the top of the Western Conference.

Pollard spent 11 years in the NBA, adding on stints with the Pacers, Cavaliers, and Celtics toward the back half of his career.

Fun fact: Pollard is one of six players from the 1996-97 University of Kansas team to make an NBA appearance. Kansas went 34-1 before falling to eventual champion Arizona in the Sweet 16. Those six players: Pollard, Paul Pierce, Raef LaFrentz, Jacque Vaughn, Billy Thomas, and Ryan Robertson.
