Militer China bahkan mengerahkan dua kapal induk yang mengangkut puluhan jet tempur.
Selain itu 70 kapal perang juga dikerahkan ke perairan utara dan selatan Taiwan.
Kabar itu disampaikan oleh seorang pejabat keamanan Taiwan dilansir dari Eurasiantimes.com pada Rabu (4/6).
Pejabat Taipei itu menyebut aksi militer China itu bertujuan untuk mengintimidasi Taiwan.
Menurutnya ada hampir 70 kapal perang China terpantau berada di sekitar laut Kuning hingga Laut china Selatan dari tanggal 1 hingga 27 Mei.
Adapun China telah meningkatkan pengerahan jet tempur dan kapal perang di sekitar Taiwan dalam beberapa tahun terakhir.
Tujuan dari aksi tersebut adalah menekan Taiwan agar menerima klaim kedaulatannya atas pulau itu. (Tribun-Video.com)
