PLO | Ông Trump gửi lời trấn an người ủng hộ sau khi bị ám sát hụt | Ngày 13-7, cựu Tổng thống Mỹ Donald Trump đã gửi thông điệp đầu tiên đến người ủng hộ sau khi bị bắn tại buổi vận động tranh cử ở TP Butler, Pennsylvania. Trong email gửi người ủng hộ, ông Trump nhấn mạnh: "TÔI SẼ KHÔNG BAO GIỜ BỎ CUỘC!" cùng với chữ ký và chân dung của ông. Trên mạng xã hội Truth Social, ông Trump mô tả chi tiết về việc bị bắn vào "phần trên tai phải" và cảm ơn Cơ quan Mật vụ Mỹ cũng như cơ quan thực thi pháp luật vì phản ứng nhanh chóng của họ. Ông cũng gửi lời chia buồn đến gia đình những người thiệt mạng và bị thương.Theo các cố vấn, ông Trump đã "khỏe" sau vụ nổ súng. Thống đốc Pennsylvania Josh Shapiro cho biết cựu tổng thống đã rời khu vực TP Butler an toàn dưới sự bảo vệ của Cơ quan Mật vụ và Cảnh sát bang Pennsylvania. Bất chấp vụ tấn công, đại hội toàn quốc của đảng Cộng hòa vẫn sẽ diễn ra như kế hoạch vào ngày 15-7 tại TP Milwaukee, Wisconin.
