A revived Italian investigation has reopened one of the darkest chapters of the Bosnian War, revealing wealthy Western “tourist snipers” who paid to shoot civilians during the Siege of Sarajevo. The “Sarajevo Safari” documentary and new testimonies expose how foreign elites joined Serb positions to kill civilians, raising fresh questions about accountability decades later.İtalya’da yıllar sonra patlayan bir soruşturma, Bosna Savaşı’nın en karanlık sayfalarını yeniden açtı. 1990’larda Saraybosna’yı kuşatan Sırplara para ödeyip “eğlencesine” sivilleri öldüren Batılı zenginler olduğu yeniden ortaya çıktı. Üstelik bu iddialar yeni değil; 1995’te gündeme gelmiş, 2022’de çekilen Saraybosna Safari belgeseliyle daha da netleşmişti. Peki kim bu hafta sonu keskin nişancıları? İtalyan savcılık, yıllar sonra bu vahşete karışanları tespit etmek için soruşturma başlattı. Soruşturmanın fitilini ateşleyen gazeteci Ezio Gavazzeni, İtalya, Almanya, Fransa, İngiltere ve ABD’den zengin turistlerin de bu ölüm oyununa katıldığını söylüyor. Saraybosna Safari belgeseli, 1425 gün süren kuşatmanın bilinmeyen karanlık yüzünü gözler önüne seriyor: Aracıların organize ettiği, Sırp askerlerinin koruduğu, helikopterlerle mevzilere taşınan katil turistler… Çocuk öldürmenin bile daha pahalı olduğu bir vahşet…
