KOMPAS.TV - Wali Kota Semarang berkomitmen Untuk meningkatkan penguatan Kelompok Sadar Wisata (Pokdarwis) yang ada di Kota Semarang.
Pihaknya akan memamerkan hasil UMKM Pokdarwis secara berkala dan akan mewajibkan mengajak UMKM yang ada di Kota Semarang.
Wali Kota Semarang, Agustina Wilujeng, membuka Jambore Kelompok Sadar Wisata atau Pokdarwis di Sleko, kawasan Kota Lama, Kota Semarang, Jawa Tengah, Minggu 22 Juni.
Tujuan dari rencana ini adalah untuk meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi.
Untuk itu, Agustina mengajak Pokdarwis untuk mempersiapkan diri memanfaatkan momentum yang diprediksi akan mendatangkan ribuan orang ke Kota Semarang.
Wali Kota menggarisbawahi pentingnya ekosistem ekonomi lokal yang tangguh. Setiap kecamatan juga diharapkan secara rutin dua bulan sekali menggelar gerai UMKM.
Upaya ini diyakini mampu mendorong perputaran ekonomi dan memperkuat peran UMKM sebagai pengungkit pertumbuhan.
