Jokowi dengan tegas menyatakan tak tertarik atas pencalonan tersebut.
Sembari tersenyum, eks Wali Kota Solo itu justru menyatakan kesiapannya untuk berlabuh ke Partai Solidaritas Indonesia.
Jokowi menyatakan, saat ini di PPP banyak calon-calon ketua umum yang jauh lebih baik.
Yakni, memiliki kapasitas, kapabilitas dan mempunyai kompetensi.
Penolakan tersebut disampaikan Jokowi di kediamannya, di Sumber, Solo, Jawa Tengah, Jumat (6/6/2025).
Jokowi menilai, dirinya tak lebih baik dibanding para kader internal PPP yang sudah muncul sebagai bakal calon ketua umum.
“Banyak ini calon yang sudah beredar kan banyak. Banyak sekali,” tambahnya.
