Roket itu mengenai kota-kota Kfar Hoshen, Or HaGanuz, Bar Yohai, Kabri, dan Meron.
Serangan ini sebagai tanggapan atas serangan udara rezim Israel di Lebanon selatan.
Beberapa outlet berita berbahasa Ibrani melaporkan bahwa Hizbullah menembakkan lebih dari 200 roket dari Lebanon selatan menuju Israel utara dalam 24 jam terakhir.
Beberapa jam yang lalu, surat kabar rezim Israel Maariv melaporkan bahwa 35 hingga 40 roket ditembakkan dari Lebanon selatan ke kota Kiryat Shmona dan daerah lain di wilayah Galilea.
Beberapa media juga melaporkan kebakaran di sekitar pangkalan militer Ramim di sebelah barat Kiryat Shmona menyusul serangan roket di daerah itu.
Sementara itu Israel diketahui menyerang Lebanon pada Selasa (16/7/2024).
Serangan itu menewaskan 5 orang di Lebanon.
IDF juga menembakkan sejumlah peluru ke arah kota-kota perbatasan Lebanon di hari yang sama.
Hizbullah telah bertukar tembakan hampir setiap hari dengan pasukan Israel untuk mendukung sekutu Hamas sejak serangan kelompok militan Palestina 7 Oktober terhadap Israel memicu perang di Jalur Gaza.
Di Lebanon, kekerasan lintas perbatasan sejak Oktober telah menewaskan 511 orang, sebagian besar pejuang tetapi juga termasuk sedikitnya 104 warga sipil.(*)
