Dilaporkan rentetan rudal Iran berhasil menghantam kawasan padat penduduk tersebut.
Ledakan dahsyat mengguncang gedung pencakar langit, memecahkan kaca, dan menyisakan puing-puing berserakan di jalanan kota.
Bahkan pemukim Israel menyamakan guncangan tersebut seperti gempa bumi hingga membuat kawasan tersibuk itu berubah menjadi zona bencana.
“Kami mendengar ledakan keras. Bangunan itu bergerak seakan-akan terjadi gempa bumi,” kata Hanni Adiv.
“Semua kaca jendela pecah. Ada kerusakan besar di gedung kami dan semua bangunan di sekitarnya," imbuhnya.
Begitulah warga menggambarkan momen mengerikan saat rudal Iran menghujani kota Ramat Gan, Israel.
Selain itu, warga Israel mengaku trauma dan tak bisa tidur akibat serangan yang terus berlangsung selama sepekan terakhir.
Dikutip dari The Time Of Israel, serangan ini turut merusak Menara Moshe Aviv setinggi 244 meter, gedung tertinggi di Israel.
Sementara itu, petugas tanggap darurat menyisir gedung-gedung, mencari korban yang terjebak di antara puing bangunan.
Akibatnya menewaskan enam orang dan puluhan lainnya terluka, sementara ratusan warga berlindung di tempat penampungan darurat.
