Kini, mereka dijatuhi sanksi skorsing selama satu minggu dan wajib melapor kepada guru Bimbingan Konseling (BK).
Hal ini disampaikan oleh Plt Kepala Dinas Pendidikan DKI, Budi Awaluddin pada Rabu (12/6/2024).
Budi mengungkapkan lima bocah itu merupakan siswa dari empat sekolah berbeda.
Budi menuturkan lima bocah SMP tersebut telah menyesali perbuatannya ketika diperiksa.
Bahkan, katanya, mereka sampai menangis terkait video yang direkam olehnya tersebut.
Mereka mengaku hanya bercanda melontarkan kalimat-kalimat sadis tersebut.
Namun, lantaran diunggah di media sosial dan viral, maka menjadi bumerang bagi mereka.
Dia, mewakili orang tua kelima pelajar tersebut, meminta maaf atas viralnya video penghinaan terhadap anak Palestina itu karena sudah menyinggung masyarakat luas.
Pasca viralnya video ini, Budi mengungkapkan pihaknya bersama dengan petugas DPAPP, konselor, Kanwil Kemenkumham serta kepolisian bakal melakukan pembinaan kepada siswa di sekolah.(*)
