«Ho avuto la sensazione che la foresta respirasse con me. A un certo punto non capivo più dove finisse il suono del pianoforte e dove iniziasse quello della natura. Era come se la musica arrivasse dagli alberi, attraversasse le mie mani e tornasse di nuovo alla foresta». Con queste parole Gloria Campaner, tra le interpreti italiane più visionarie e riconosciute della scena internazionale, racconta ciò che è accaduto nel cuore più remoto del Parco Nazionale delle Foreste Casentinesi, Monte Falterona e Campigna, durante il “Concerto agli Alberi”, l’esperienza più radicale e poetica ideata da Naturalmente Pianoforte insieme al Parco Nazionale. Non un concerto nel senso tradizionale del termine. Nessun pubblico umano. Nessuna platea. Nessun applauso ad attendere la fine dei brani. Solo alberi secolari, vento, acqua, luce. E una pianista sola davanti alla foresta.
La performance di Gloria Campaner si è trasformata in qualcosa che assomiglia più a un rito che a uno spettacolo. Ed è proprio da questa sensazione che Campaner ha costruito il suo dialogo musicale con gli alberi. Le prime note del Notturno di Respighi si sono disperse tra le foglie come pulviscolo nell’aria: «Quando lo suono - racconta - mi sembra che le note diventino particelle della vita, che si confondano con il vento». Poi la consapevolezza improvvisa di ciò che aveva davanti: «Questo strumento viene dagli alberi, dalla foresta.
