As sometimes this is the most powerful thing we can do. Beth Hunt is an educator based in Hampshire, originally from the hills of North Wales. Growing up living on a bus and in a home without running water, bathing in a tin bath in front of the fire, she learned early on the importance of resilience, community and making the most of every opportunity.
After many years as a successful Drama and SEN teacher, Beth now works with young people in entrepreneurship, careers and employability, helping them build confidence, skills and meaningful connections. Alongside this, she has developed a passion for photography, capturing people, brands and landscapes through storytelling.
In her TEDx talk, Beth shares how the people we meet, the conversations we have and the courage to reach out can change the course of our lives. Through personal stories and practical insights, she explores why connection is one of the most powerful forces for growth, opportunity and belonging.
