Pelakunya adalah istri dan ipar korban yang masing-masing berinisial FT dan PP.
Adapun korban yakni DI ditemukan tewas dengan kepala terpenggal dan tangan yang termutilasi pada Rabu (16/7) lalu.
Dalam konferensi pers di Mapolres Banjar, Senin (21/7), FT dan PP yang dihadirkan tampak mengenakan baju tahanan warna oranye.
Kapolres Banjar, AKBP Fadli mengungkapkan, aksi pembunuhan sadis ini bermula ketika DI bersama FT serta anak dan rombongan berjalan menuju tempat kerja di hutan.
Di tengah perjalanan, korban memarahi korban karena cemburu terhadap rekan kerja dan saudara laki-laki istrinya.
Keributan memuncak saat DI memukul FT hingga terjatuh.
FT yang terpojok kemudian mengambil sebilah parang dan membacok wajah korban.
Melihat kondisi ini, kakak FT, PP turut menyerang korban dengan parang dan belati.
FT kemudian membacok lengan kiri DI hingga putus, sedangkan PP memenggal korban,
Tersangka PP kemudian membuang kepala korban sekitar tujuh meter dari tubuhnya, alasannya agar sang ipar tak hidup kembali.
Atas perbuatannya, kedua pelaku dijerat dengan Pasal 338 KUHP subsider pasal 170 ayat 2 ke 3 dengan ancaman hukuman penjara maksimal 15 tahun.
