Kericuhan pecah setelah aparat menembakkan gas air mata ke arah massa. Aksi itu dibalas pendemo dengan melempar petasan ke barisan aparat yang berjaga.
Awalnya pada aksi demo hari ini, massa buruh yang pertama melakukan aksi demo. Mereka melakukan demo sejak pagi hingga siang hari, mulai pukul 10.00 WIB hingga sekitar pukul 12.30 WIB. Aksi demo kali ini mengusung tema Hostum yang merupakan akronim atau singkatan dari Hapus Outsourcing, Tolak Upah Murah.
Tuntutan hari ini diantaranya buruh meminta pemerintah menaikkan upah minimum nasional 2026 sebesar 8,5โ10,5 persen.
Setelah menyampaikan aspirasi massa buruh meninggalkan lokasi demo. Aksi unjuk rasa yang dilakukan buruh bun berlangsung dengan damai.
Setelah massa buruh meninggalkan lokasi, sekitar pukul 13.30 WIB mahasiswa mulai datang Kericuhan terjadi setelah masa buruh meninggalkan lokasi demo, kemudian berganti mahasiswa yang melakukan aksi demo di depan DPR.
Tidak lama para pelajar merangsek masuk bahkan sampai memanjat pagar tol dalam dalam kota dengan membawa batang bambu. Sorakan meriah pun menyambut ketibaan para pelajar di depan Gedung DPR RI.
Sementara itu, ratusan mahasiswa dan pelajar terus melakukan aksi unjuk rasa di depan Gedung DPR RI pada pukul 15.00 WIB. Kemudian massa yang memadati gerbang utama Gedung DPR melemparkan bambu runcing dan botol air mineral ke arah pagar, serta membakar tumpukan sampah yang menimbulkan asap pekat ke udara.
Kemudian pihak kepolisian memukul mundur massa menggunakan selang air bertekanan tinggi dan tameng untuk menghalau masssa. Pihak kepolisian juga memukul mundur massa dengan watter cannon dan gas air mata.
