[Waldbrand in der Gohrischheide führt zu Evakuierungen!] Einsatzfahrten zum Waldbrand in Sachsen
Hier zu sehen, sind Einsatzfahrten zum Waldbrand in der Gohrischheide. Einsatzkräfte von verschiedenen Hilfsorganisationen kämpfen bereits seit Dienstag den 01.07.2025 gegen die Flammen. An diesem Tag brach der Waldbrand aus und breitete sich aufgrund der hohen Temperaturen und der Trockenheit rasant aus. Mehrere Orte, wo unter Anderem auch ein Pflegeheim betroffen war, mussten evakuiert werden. Der Brand soll nach Angaben von eingesetzten Einsatzkräften ca. 1000 Hektar Wald betreffen.Auch Kräfte der Bundeswehrfeuerwehr und gepanzerte Spezialfahrzeuge aus Brandenburg (Nicht im Video zu sehen) trafen am heutigen Donnerstag ein, um die Brandbekämpfung zu unterstützen und eine Ausbreitung auf ein Materiallager der Bundeswehr zu verhindern.

Emergency personnel from various aid organizations have been battling the flames since Tuesday, July 1st, 2025. On that day, the forest fire broke out and spread rapidly due to high temperatures and dry conditions. Several locations, including a nursing home, had to be evacuated. According to the deployed emergency services, the fire is estimated to affect around 1,000 hectares of forest.
Forces from the German Armed Forces Fire Department and armored special vehicles from Brandenburg (not shown in the video) also arrived today, Thursday, to support firefighting efforts and to prevent the fire from spreading to a Bundeswehr supply depot.
