Israeli Forces Intercept Global Sumud Flotilla Carrying Aid to GazaIsraeli forces have intercepted the Global Sumud Flotilla carrying aid to Gaza. Footage from one of the boats shows the moment it was intercepted by the Israeli forces. It also shows the crew raising their arms in the air as Israeli troops board the vessel. Another video shows an Israeli naval vessel firing a jet spray on one of the aid boats. The organisers said that two of the ships of the flotilla were aggressively circled by an Israeli warship in "harassing manoeuvres". Despite the interception, some of the boats managed to continue with their journey to Gaza. The Global Sumud flotilla organisers said that 22 boats were on their way to the war-torn enclave. The Flotilla is carrying around 500 parliamentarians, lawyers and activists, including Swedish climate campaigner Greta Thunberg.
