'Direct Hit': Kim Jong Un, Putin's Missiles 'Shake' Japan and South Korea | From The Frontline
Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un are taking Asia by storm. In the last week of October, Russia carried out an Inter-continental Ballistic Missile test in the Sea of Okhotsk, North of Japan. A Russian Nuclear-powered submarine, Generalissimo Suvorov fired the Bulava ICBM while staying submerged near the disputed Kuril Islands. The Kuril Islands are Russian territory but are claimed by Japan which Tokyo calls its Northern Territories next to Hokkaido. Following the Russian ICBM launch, North Korea fired at least 10 ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan. North Korean leader Kim Jong Un oversaw the missile launches. Then North Korea fired a ballistic missile capable of deploying a cluster warhead. Kim, accompanied by his wife and daughter also showcased North Korea's next-generation drones at a drone exhibition. The kamikaze drones were then fired at mock targets that looked like the US M-1 Abrams tank and South Korea's K-9 Thunder. Meanwhile, North Korea has also deployed its self propelled howitzers to the border with South Korea called DMZ. Japan has raised concerns over North Korea's missile tests, while South Korea has accused Kim Jong Un of straining tensions in the region. Watch the Full Report on From The Frontline by Firstpost.---
