KRONENMAKIS: Überraschender Nachwuchs im Zoo Dresden sorgt für HoffnungGroße Freude im Zoo Dresden: Bei den Kronenmakis gibt es überraschend Nachwuchs. Mutter Amalia bringt am 15. April ein gesundes Jungtier zur Welt und kümmert sich fürsorglich. Die Geburt kommt unerwartet, denn die Trächtigkeit blieb unbemerkt. Klar ist: Vater ist nicht der aktuelle Partner Tsingy, sondern Amalias früherer Gefährte aus dem Zoo Wrocław. Der Zuchterfolg gilt als wichtiges Signal für den Schutz der stark gefährdeten Art, die durch Lebensraumverlust und Bejagung bedroht ist.
