Sebuah video viral di media sosial memperlihatkan adanya ulat pada makanan siswa.
Dalam rekaman berdurasi singkat itu, tampak ulat bergerak di atas nasi dan sayuran dalam kotak makan.
Informasi yang dihimpun Tribunjambi.com menyebutkan, peristiwa tersebut terjadi di SMKN 2 Kota Jambi pada Senin (22/9/2025), tepat di hari pertama pelaksanaan program MBG di sekolah itu.
Kepala SMKN 2 Kota Jambi, Woro Handayani, membenarkan kejadian tersebut.
“Itu dari 1.600 siswa (penerima MBG), hanya satu yang menemukan ulat. Kemungkinan ulat dari sayur yang jatuh ke nasi. Tidak dimakan siswa, langsung dikembalikan,” ujarnya, Jumat (26/9/2025).
Woro memastikan temuan itu segera dilaporkan ke pihak dapur penyedia makanan agar tidak terulang kembali.
Woro juga menegaskan tidak ada siswa yang mengalami gangguan kesehatan akibat insiden tersebut.
