SPIONAGE-VERDACHT: Behörde prüft Software im MG4! – Können Daten nach China abfließen?Der chinesische Autohersteller MG gerät wegen möglicher Sicherheitsrisiken beim Elektroauto MG4 in den Fokus. In einer vom Hersteller veröffentlichten Liste der eingesetzten Open-Source-Komponenten finden sich auch Programme, die technisch für Fernzugriffe genutzt werden können. Ob daraus tatsächlich eine Spionagefunktion entsteht, ist damit jedoch nicht belegt. Der Vorgang trifft auf bestehende Sorgen deutscher Sicherheitsbehörden über vernetzte Fahrzeuge aus China. Laut Ausgangsmaterial prüft das Kraftfahrt-Bundesamt den Vorwurf. MG bestätigt, dass der MG4 vernetzte Dienste und Software nutzt.
