Bripka Rohmad Menangis saat Minta Maaf ke Keluarga Affan dan Ceritakan Kondisi Anak-anaknya

Hasil sidang memutuskan bahwa Bripka Rohmad terbukti bersalah melindas pengemudi ojek online (ojol) bernama Affan Kurniawan hingga tewas di Pejompongan, Jakarta Pusat pada Kamis (28/8) lalu.
Bripka Rohmad pun disanksi demosi atau penurunan jabatan selama tujuh tahun dan patsus selama 20 hari.
Tak hanya itu, Bripka Rohmad juga diminta menyampaikan maaf secara lisan di sidang KKEP dan tertulis pada pimpinan Polri.
Dalam pernyataannya, Rohmad tak kuasa menahan tangisnya saat menyampaikan curahan hatinya.
Dengan suara bergetar, Rohmad mengaku sudah 28 tahun mengabdi sebagai polisi dan tak pernah terjerat kasus pidana hingga etik.
Bripka Rohmad mengaku dirinya memiliki istri dan dua anaknya yang masih membutuhkan dirinya.
Anak pertamanya sedang kuliah, sedangkan anak keduanya memiliki keterbelakangan mental.
Menurut Rohmad, selama ini dirinya hanya mengandalkan penghasilan dari Polri saja.
Ia pun berharap masih tetap menyelesaikan pengabdiannya hingga pensiun.
Ditegaskan oleh dirinya bahwa tak memiliki niat untuk mencelakai orang lain bahkan sampai menghilangkan nyawa.
Rohmad juga menyampaikan maafnya pada keluarga almarhum Affan Kurniawan.
Lebih lanjut, Rohmad menyebut apa yang terjadi bukan atas kehendak pribadi, melainkan menjalankan perintah atasan.
