Para pengendara menghentikan laju kendaraannya, para pedagang menghentikan sejenak aktivitas jual beli selama 1 menit untuk mengambil sikap berdiri tegak sambil memberi hormat kepada Bendera Merah Putih.
Peringatan Detik-detik Peringatan Proklamasi Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia juga diikuti masyarakat sekitar pasar, para juru parkir, perangkat desa, personel Polsek Socah, hingga sejumlah bocah larut dalam momen bersejarah menjelang Hari Kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia pada 17 Agustus 1945 silam.
