Verse 1

O Ashutosh, the easily pleased Lord,
O Shashank Shekhar, who bears the Moon upon Your head,
O Chandramouli, Moon-crested Lord,
O Chidambara, whose nature is infinite consciousness,

I offer millions upon millions of salutations to Shambhu.
I bow countless times to You, O Digambara, the One clothed in the vastness of existence.

Verse 2

You are Nirvikara, beyond all change.
You are the eternal Omkara, the imperishable Supreme Being.

You are the God of gods.

You are the creator of the universe and the One who brings about its dissolution.

You are Shivam, Satyam and Sundaram —
the embodiment of auspiciousness, truth and divine beauty.

Verse 3

O Nirankara, the formless One,
O Kaleshwara, Lord of Time,
O Mahayogeshwara, Supreme Lord of Yogis,

You are the treasure-house of compassion and the divine bestower of blessings.

Victory to You, O Lord with matted locks,
O powerful and awe-inspiring One who grants fearlessness to Your devotees.

Verse 4

O Shulapani, wielder of the trident,
O Lord who carries the mighty Trishula,
O Mahesh, Great Lord,
O Trilochana, the Three-Eyed One,

Victory to You, O Vishwanatha, Lord of the Universe,
O Vishwambhara, the One who sustains all creation.

Verse 5

O Nageshwara, Lord adorned with serpents,
O Hara, the remover of suffering,

Destroy our sins, afflictions and the consequences of our misdeeds and curses.

O Mahadeva, the Great God,
O innocent and compassionate Bhole,
O Eternal Shiva,
O Shankara, the source of auspiciousness,

I bow to You.

O Lord of the Universe,

May my love, devotion and attachment always remain at Your divine feet.

Please forgive all my offenses and mistakes.
