Tak hanya itu, ratusan orang pun ditangkap hingga pihak petugas kepolisian yang terluka akibat bentrok tersebut.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, kerusuhan yang terus meluas itu dikonfirmasi oleh Departemen Kepolisian San Francisco (SFPD).
Ia mengatakan demo di San Francisco sebagai pertemuan ilegal.
Meski beberapa massa membubarkan diri, sejumlah demonstran tetap bertahan dan melanjutkan tindakan anarkis.
Akibatnya, dua polisi terluka, satu di antaranya harus mendapat perawatan intensif di rumah sakit.
Sementara 154 orang ditangkap akibat kerusuhan tersebut.
Tak hanya itu, para demonstran bergerak ke arah Market Street.
Mereka merusak bangunan, kendaraan, bahkan mobil dinas kepolisian.
Akibat kerusuhan yang semakin merajalela, operasional kendaraan otonom diberhentikan sementara di beberapa titik di San Francisco.
Keputusan ini juga di ambil sebelumnya di pusat Kota Los Angeles karena sejumlah unit robotaxi dibakar.
