Hamza, a founding member of Lashkar-e-Taiba alongside Hafiz Saeed, has long been considered one of the group’s top ideologues. Reports say the attack took place outside a news channel office—marking the second attempt on his life in less than a year. Designated a global terrorist by the United States in 2012, Hamza has been linked to multiple attacks and propaganda operations and the 2005 Bengaluru attack.
