Os cuento por qué reducir la filosofía a mera “reflexión” (o al mero ejercicio de “hacerse preguntas”),y la ciencia a “técnica y datos” es una caricatura que no se corresponde ni con la historia ni con las prácticas reales de los filósofos y los científicos.
En este vídeo vamos a acotar o describir (de forma tentativa e imperfecta, pero un poco mejor que Google) la naturaleza y función de la Filosofía (y de ramas como la Filosofía de la Ciencia), vamos a hablar de por qué no es del todo preciso decir que la Ciencia tiene que ver principalmente con “observar la Naturaleza”, por qué no existe un único método científico, o qué papel juegan la lógica, las matemáticas y las inferencias abductivas en el conocimiento científico.
Además, hago algunas aclaraciones sobre el concepto mismo de “verdad” (y si acaso puede existir más de una), explico las principales teorías de la verdad (correspondencia, coherencia y pragmáticas) y analizo el argumento de la “causa primera” a favor de la existencia de Dios.
