Cuba: vecinos frustran robo de transformador en Mayabeque
Una vecina de La Josefita, en Melena del Sur, Mayabeque, denunció un intento de robo en un transformador eléctrico durante la madrugada. Según su relato, dos hombres fueron sorprendidos cerca del poste mientras residentes permanecían despiertos por el calor, los mosquitos y los prolongados apagones.La denunciante explicó que la comunidad ya había recibido alertas sobre robos de aceite dieléctrico y transformadores. Una vecina intentó llamar por teléfono, pero la falta de electricidad afectaba la señal; entonces gritó para avisar que había un hombre sobre el poste y otro abajo. Los sospechosos huyeron cuando varios residentes salieron a enfrentarlos.
