Menurut pengakuan Kapolres Nabire, AKBP Samuel D Tatiratu, belasan napi itu kabur sekira pukul 07.00 WIT.
Bahkan aksi meloloskan diri yang dilakukan oleh warga binaan ini terekam dari kamera CCTV keamanan.
Tampak dalam rekaman, sejumlah napi kabur dengan memanjati dinding samping tembok lapas kelas 2B tersebut.
Dengan adanya aksi kabur napi, pihak keamanan mengambil langkah dengan melakukan pengamanan di lapas.
AKBP Samuel menyebut bahwa pihak kepolisian dan lapas juga sudah melakukan sterilisasi di dalam lapas.
Sementara itu saat ini polisi sedang melakukan olah TKP.
Mereka juga telah melakuan pemeriksaan internal kepada 5 petugas jaga yang beada di dalam lapas.
Sebelumnya, aksi yang sama juga sempat terjadi pada Senin (2/6).
Sebanyak 19 napi dari Lapas Nabire dilaporkan kabur sekira pukul 10.30 WIT.
