KOMPAS.TV - Presiden Prabowo Subianto memutuskan empat pulau yang disengketakan Aceh dan Sumatera Utara masuk wilayah Aceh.Hal ini disampaikan Mensesneg Prasetyo Hadi usai rapat terbatas di Istana Kepresidenan.
Pertemuan dihadiri Gubernur Aceh dan Sumut, Mendagri, Mensesneg, dan Wakil Ketua DPR Sufmi Dasco Ahmad. Sementara Presiden Prabowo bergabung secara daring karena sedang menuju Rusia.
Polemik empat pulau dipicu keputusan Kementerian Dalam Negeri soal status empat pulau yang sebelumnya milik Aceh masuk wilayah Sumatera Utara.
Menteri Dalam Negeri, Tito, mengungkap alasan mengapa empat pulau yang awalnya milik Aceh beralih ke wilayah Sumatera Utara.
Salah satunya, pada 2008, Gubernur Aceh saat itu tak mendaftarkan empat pulau ke dalam wilayah Aceh.
