Dedi Mulyadi Sebut Study Tour 'Pembodohan Publik' hingga Ancam Copot Kepala Sekolah yang Nakal

Pria yang akrab dipanggil KDM itu menyebut praktik study tour yang melenceng sebagai pembodohan publik.
Dedi bahkan mengancam akan mencopot kepala sekolah yang tetap menyelenggarakan study tour keluar daerah.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Dedi Mulyadi saat ditemui di IPDN Kampus Jatinagor, Sumedang, Senin (28/7).
Ia meminta para kepala daerah memahami esensi study tour sebagai kegiatan ilmiah, bukan sekadar jalan-jalan berkedok pendidikan.
Menurutnya, makna study tour selama ini disalahartikan menjadi sekadar kegiatan rekreasi.
Ia menekankan bahwa study tour seharusnya berkaitan dengan riset, kunjungan ilmiah, atau analisis industri.
Lantas, Dedi mengkritik praktik study tour yang dinilainya sebagai pembodohan publik dan menyimpang dari tujuan pendidikan.
Sementara itu, Dedi menyoroti unjuk rasa pelaku pariwisata sebagai indikasi komersialisasi kegiatan tersebut.
"Dengan adanya demo pekerja pariwisata itu menunjukkan bahwa study tour yang dilaksanakan selama ini adalah bertentangan dengan kalimat study tour-nya, dan itu pembodohan publik. Makanya, tidak boleh sekolah-sekolah di Jawa Barat membodohi siswa dan orangtuanya, itu tegas saya," tegasnya.
