Ia mengklaim, rudal balistik Zulfikar yang diluncurkan dari Yaman berhasil mencapai target.
Akibatnya, operasional bandara dihentikan untuk sementara dan lebih dari empat juta penduduk Israel mengungsi ke tempat perlindungan bom.
Saree menyebut, operasi berulang terhadap pusat penerbangan Israel merupakan respons atas genosida di Gaza.
The Times of Israel juga mengonfirmasi bahwa jutaan penduduk, terutama yang tinggal di bagian tengah mengungsi akibat serangan Houthi.
Namun, pihak militer memastikan bahwa rudal berhasil dicegat oleh sistem pertahanan udara.
Rekaman video yang beredar memperlihatkan momen intersepsi, di mana pecahan rudal terbakar di langit.
Sirine peringatan terdengar di seluruh Israel tengah, Yerusalem, sejumlah permukiman Tepi Barat, dan Israel selatan.
Warga Palestina sempat menyaksikan rudal tersebut meluncur ke Israel sambil bersorak.
Houthi sebelumnya juga menargetkan Bandara Ben Gurion pada Minggu (1/6/2025) dan diklaim berhasil, namun Israel membantah.
