Pantauan Hilal 1 Ramadhan di Makassar, BMKG Prediksi Tinggi Hilal di Atas Ufuk Sekitar 3,02 Derajat

Tim Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi dan Geofisika (BMKG) Wilayah IV Makassar turun memantau awal Ramadan.
Turut hadir pula dari Kanwil Kementerian Agama (Kemenag) Sulsel dan mahasiswa Unhas maupun UIN Alauddin.
Ketua Kelompok Kerja Geofisika BMKG IV Makassar Jamroni menjelaskan.
"Kami dari BMKG (Makassar) bawa satu alat, dan dari BMKG Gowa satu alat juga untuk pemantauan," kata Jamroni.
Lokasi pemantauan tahun ini berbeda dibanding 2024 lalu.
Di 2024 lalu, pemantauan berlangsung di rooftop GTC.
Sementara tahun ini di parking lot Delft Apartement CPI.
Jamroni menyebut lokasi saat ini cukup baik untuk memantau rukyatul hilal.
"Kita mencoba mencari lokasi baru dan tampaknya lokasi ini cukup baik untuk pengamatan dibanding yang sebelumnya ya," kata Jamroni.
"jadi kami anggap juga cukup representatif, setelah itu kemudian kami melaksanakan survei dan kami setujui bersama-sama," lanjutnya.
BMKG memprediksi matahari tenggelam pukul 18.21 Wita.
Sementara waktu bulan terbenam di 18.39 wita.
" jadi kita punya waktu pengamatan kurang lebih 18 menit dari tenggelamnya matahari, kemudian disusul tenggelamnya bulan," kata Jamroni.
BMKG memprediksi tinggi Hilal di atas ufuk sekitar 3,02 derajat.
Jamroni menjelaskan ketinggian pemantauan hilal juga akan mempengaruhi perhitungan
"Jadi kami ilustrasikan misalnya kita berada di pinggir pantai pada saat matahari tenggelam di 18.21 maka itu berarti sudah maghrib. Tapi kalau kita berada di posisi gunung, kita akan melihat bahwa posisi bulan belum tenggelam di ufuk," lanjutnya.
Hingga kini proses pemantauan masih terus berlangsung di Kota Makassar.
