Témoignage d’un repenti : Je m’appelle Abdoul Wahid. J’ai 10 ans. Je suis un ancien combattant d’un groupe terroriste dans la zone de Gassan, commandé par un certain Balôbô. C’est mon propre père DIAKITE Souley alias Abou Alamnata qui m’a conduit dans ce groupe.En effet, mon père était déjà combattant dans ce groupe, depuis deux ans de cela. Un jour, il est revenu à la maison et, au moment de repartir, il m’a amené avec lui sans dire où est-ce qu’on partait. Arrivé, je me suis rendu compte que c’était dans une base terroriste et j’ai pleuré pour qu’il me ramène à la maison.
Là-bas, ma formation a duré une semaine. C’était une formation physique et en maniement des armes et de postes ER (talkies-walkies). Après cette formation, on m’a ramené au Burkina où je jouais le rôle de guetteur.
Quand les FDS m’ont pris, j’ai nié mon appartenance aux groupes terroristes, car je croyais qu’elles allaient me tuer si je disais la vérité. Cependant, quelques temps après, elles ont su que j’étais terroriste, mais elles ne m’ont rien fait. Elles m’ont dit qu’elles ne sont pas là pour faire du mal aux gens comme les chefs terroristes le disent, mais plutôt pour sauver des vies.
Je suis très content car on prend bien soin de moi ici. Je ne veux plus qu’on me ramène dans mon village. Je veux rester ici pour aller à l’école comme les autres enfants ou, à défaut, apprendre un métier.
