SACHSEN-ANHALT: Tag der Entscheidung! Rausch könnte erster AfD-Landtagspräsident werden | LIVEBSW-Gründerin Sahra Wagenknecht hat das Vorhaben ihrer Partei verteidigt, bei der Wahl des Landtagspräsidenten in Sachsen-Anhalt für den AfD-Kandidaten Tobias Rausch zu stimmen und ihm so zu einer Mehrheit zu verhelfen. «Das BSW beendet die Brandmauer-Idiotie! Die stärkste Fraktion eines Landtags sollte auch den Landtagspräsidenten stellen - bei 44 Prozent Wählervotum sollte das eine Selbstverständlichkeit sein», sagte sie der Deutschen Presse-Agentur.
Diese parlamentarische Normalität dürfe nicht länger für die AfD außer Kraft gesetzt werden. Man habe vor der Landtagswahl einen vernünftigen Umgang mit der AfD und ein Ende der Brandmauer versprochen. «Das lösen wir jetzt ein», so Wagenknecht.
Der neu gewählte Landtag kommt heute um 11.00 Uhr zu seiner konstituierenden Sitzung in Magdeburg zusammen. Auf der Tagesordnung steht die Wahl des Parlamentspräsidenten. Die AfD, die die Landtagswahl mit fast 44 Prozent der Stimmen gewonnen hat, will nun auch den ranghöchsten Politiker des Landes stellen. Für die Position schlägt sie den langjährigen Abgeordneten Rausch vor. Sollte er gewählt werden, wäre er der erste Landtagspräsident der AfD in Deutschland.
Rausch ist 35 Jahre alt, gelernter Immobilienkaufmann und gehört der AfD-Fraktion seit 2016 an. Er ist ihr parlamentarischer Geschäftsführer und damit auch für die Kommunikation mit den anderen Landtagsfraktionen zuständig.
