MEINUNG: „Der Rechtsstaat muss blind sein – für jede Form von Gewalt“ | Jaques SchusterNach dem Brandanschlag auf die Autos des AfD-Politikers Bernd Baumann kritisiert Welt am Sonntag-Chefredakteur Jacques Schuster eine gefährliche Doppelmoral im Berliner Politikbetrieb. Während Gewalt gegen grüne oder linke Politiker oft parteiübergreifende Solidarität auslöse, bleibe sie bei Angriffen auf AfD-Vertreter vielfach aus – obwohl der Rechtsstaat gegenüber jeder Form politisch motivierter Gewalt blind sein müsse. Schuster warnt: Die Grenze zur körperlichen Gefährdung sei schmal. Der Rechtsstaat dürfe nicht zulassen, dass Schweigen zur Legitimierung von Gewalt werde – egal aus welcher Richtung sie komme.
