Gaya komunikasi Purbaya disebut kurang empati atau nirempati.
Terkait hal itu Purbaya menyampaikan permintaan maaf.
Menteri Keuangan pengganti Sri Mulyani itu mengaku harus berhati-hati terkait ucapannya.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan oleh Purbaya pada Selasa (9/9) dalam acara serah terima jabatan Menteri Keuangan.
Purbaya mengatakan ketika menjadi pejabat negara, harus hati-hati dalam memilih diksi karena bisa dipelintir atau diubah makna aslinya jika dirinya salah ucap.
"Saya masih pejabat baru di sini (Kementerian Keuangan), jadi kalau ngomong juga kagetan. Kalau kata Bu Sri Mulyani gayanya 'koboi'," kata Purbaya.
Dalam kesempatan itu Purbaya menyampaikan akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin selama menjabat sebagai Menteri Keuangan.
Purbaya mengatakan dirinya akan meminta arahan Sri Mulyani terkait kebijakan fisikal dan ekonomi secara keseluruhan. (Tribun-Video.com/Tribunnews.com)
