Polizeieinsatz in Weinheim: 41-Jähriger von Polizeischüssen schwer verletzt
Bei einem Polizeieinsatz im Weinheimer Stadtteil Sulzbach hat die Polizei am Donnerstagabend von ihrer Schusswaffe Gebrauch gemacht. Ein 41-jähriger Mann wurde dabei im Oberkörper getroffen und schwer verletzt.Nach bisherigen Erkenntnissen kam es zunächst zu einer Auseinandersetzung in einem Wohnhaus in der Goethestraße, die sich anschließend auf die Straße verlagerte. Dort gaben Polizeibeamte Schüsse auf den Mann ab. Er wurde nach der Erstversorgung durch den Rettungsdienst in ein Krankenhaus gebracht.
Warum die Schusswaffe eingesetzt wurde, ist derzeit noch unklar. Ebenso ist bislang nicht bekannt, ob der Mann die Beamten mit einer Waffe bedroht hatte oder ob ein oder mehrere Polizisten geschossen haben.
