Diskon hingga 80 persen akan ditawarkan secara nasional oleh pelaku usaha ritel, pusat perbelanjaan, dan toko modern selama bulan kemerdekaan.
Selain itu, seluruh moda transportasi umum di Jakarta akan diberlakukan tarif khusus hanya Rp80 pada 17 Agustus 2025. Hal itu diungkap oleh Wakil Menteri Sekretaris Negara, Juri Ardiantoro, di Komplek Istana Negara, hari ini, Jumat (1/8/2025).
Juri menyampaikan, inisiatif ini merupakan bentuk kolaborasi pemerintah dan sektor swasta untuk menyemarakan perayaan HUT RI dengan semangat kegembiraan dan partisipasi publik. Program diskon hingga 80 persen ini menjadi bagian dari rangkaian panjang bulan kemerdekaan yang dikemas inklusif.
Pemerintah juga menyiapkan insentif lain seperti tarif angkutan umum hanya Rp80 pada 17 Agustus, dan penetapan 18 Agustus 2025 sebagai hari libur nasional tambahan. Angkutan umum tersebut di antaranya Transjakarta, LRT, MRT, dan KRL.
Pesta rakyat, pertunjukan budaya, kirab bendera, hingga Merdeka Run 8.0 K juga akan digelar untuk merayakan kemerdekaan ke-80 Indonesia. Kebijakan ini merupakan bagian dari rangkaian kemeriahan HUT RI yang disebut sebagai hadiah kemerdekaan untuk rakyat.
