Rencana pelayaran ini akan diikuti oleh 29 laskar rempah dan undangan dari kalangan wartawan, pegiat budaya, penulis, serta pemengaruh media sosial
Adapun pelayaran MBJR 2024 menyusuri tujuh titik Jalur Rempah, mulai dari Jakarta, Belitung Timur, Dumai, Sabang, Melaka (Malaysia), Tanjung Uban, Lampung, dan berakhir di Jakarta.
Perjalanan ini dimulai pada 7 Juni sampai 17 Juli 2024
