Diketahui luas bangunan tersebut sekira 4.030 meter persegi dengan berat 7.500 metrik ton.
Dikutip dari Kompas.com, Kamis (12/6/2025), bangunan itu sengaja dipindahkan untuk membangun struktur bawah tanah tiga lantai dibawahnya.
Hal itu mencakup zona budaya dan komersial seluas 53.000 meter persegi.
Selain itu, pemindahan tempat parkir lebih dari 100 tempat serta pusat transportasi yang menghubungan jalur bus.
Dalam video yang beredar di media sosial, terlihat detik-detik pemindahan blok bangunan tersebut dengan menggunakan robot canggih.
Robot-robot ini dapat mengangkat struktur secara perlahan dan merangkak dengan sangat lambat.
Dilaporkan, pemindahan blok banguan tersebut memanfaatkan kecerdasan buatan (AI) untuk membedakan antara tanah liat dan rintangan lainnya.
Pemindahan ini yang dilakukan bersifat sementara hingga konstruksi bawah tanah selesai.
Langkah ini disebut proyek relokasi terbesar di China.
Perlu diketahui, bangunan bersejarah itu memiliki sebutan Huayanli dibangun pada tahun 1920 hingga 1930.
Adapun penggunaan teknologi baru AI ini lantaran letak Zhangyuan yang sempit dan area dipenuhi bangunan tua yang rapat sehingga alat konstruksi biasa tak dapat digunakan.
Para arsitek menggunakan pemindahan point cloud untuk menciptakan model 3D.
Hal itu untuk memudahkan resiko benturan, rute pergerakan yang tepat dan membuat jalur pengangkutan.
